In August 2006 the PLs and leaders set off
for the annual narrowboating holiday. We sailed from Dunhampstead in
Worcestershire to Birmingham and back.
We worked our way up lots of locks
including the 30 in the Tardebigge flight.
This is the start point...
... and here's the end!
There were several tunnels
along the route...

Mr Davies took his turn on the guitar
... and Mark carries on sailing even when it rained.
The narrowboating holiday is famed for its
good food. As an example, Friday's lunch was:
Cajun Chicken wraps
Banana and Strawberry upside down cake with toffee sauce and cream
Then in the evening dinner featured:
A selection of dips
Mushrooms stuffed with duck and cranberry pate
Corn on the cob
Sausages wrapped in bacon on a potato crouton bed
Ham and leak in cheese sauce with fresh vegetables
Rich chocolate torte and cream
Cheese and biscuits
Coffee
No wonder everyone looks stuffed!
