What its not is
sitting round tying knots and getting bored!
What it is
is an amazing list of fun events, trips away, games, exciting
activities, time with your mates, meeting new people, and getting out.
We meet every
Tuesday night, sometimes inside, and at other times
playing games outside and doing sports. As well as that
there are special nights with activities like karting, bowling, camp
fires, biking, laser quest, and loads more.
As well as that
there are extra activities during the weekends and school holidays.
You could be doing things like gliding, climbing a mountain, canoeing,
camping, jet skiing, sailing a narrowboat ... and more!

The highlight
of the year is our week long Summer Camp.
And if you
think Scouts isn't for you, well we challenge you to give it a try and
prove us wrong!

INFORMATION FOR PARENTS
The 1st Adderbury Scout Troop is
based in the village of
Adderbury three miles
south of
Banbury. As well as
our weekly meetings we have regular weekend
activities and the
annual week long Summer Camp -
the highlight of the year.
Young peiople can join soon after
their 10th birthday and 1st Adderbury operates a waiting list policy for
all new members - please see our
Join Us page. Subscription fees are £55 per quarter (£50 if
paid by standing order). Payments can be made on-line here.
