CHIEF SCOUTS AWARD
VIP MEAL

On Tuesday 28th April four older Scouts prepared a delicious four course meal for some special guests.   A local farmer and parish councillor, and the village magazine editor and their wives, were delighted with the quality of the meal and attention to detail during the evening.   Both later wrote to the Scout Leader to compliment the lads on an excellent evening.   A generous donation was also received.

During the evening it was discovered that the village magazine editor's father had been one of Baden-Powell's original Scouts on Brownsea Island back in 1907!
