Saturday 27th to Sunday 28th June James Pope, Joe Blakeman, Oliver Davies, Ross McCrickerd and Casper Shaw survived for thirty-six hours, sleeping in a bivouac, with nothing but a chicken, some flour, water and anything you find in the hedgerows to eat. That was the challenge of the Backwoodsman’s badge and part or the Chief Scouts’ Award!
