Back in the early days when 1st Adderbury Scouts started in 1979, the first leader Mr Lidster set a challenge to build a candle snuffer.   As the Troop marked it's 40th birthday the third leader Mr Green (one of Mr Lidster's original Scouts) set the same challenge to the current Scouts.
